Valentines Day Self-Portraits // Las Vegas Desert Engagement Photographer

As you may know, we LOVE to get dressed up, set up the tripod, and take photos of ourselves! It's fun to document our lives, always have cute updated couple photos, and is just something fun to do on a day off! Not only that, but we like to hit up Trader Joe's beforehand and picking up some flowers so we can make a fun bouquet for the photoshoot! Flowers are one of our favorite ways to add a little oomf to a photo shoot and a great prop for couple photos to take them to the next level.

We headed out to one of our favorite desert spots outside of Las Vegas, which is covered with Joshua Trees, giving you those Joshua Tree National Park vibes, but only 20 minutes from our house. As wedding photographers in Las Vegas, this is another one of our popular spots for all kind of sessions, from family shoots to engagements and even bridals. This spot is such a little hidden gem that the best part is you have such privacy that you never have to worry about people watching you or anything like that! Sometimes I admit that I get camera sky when other people are around watching, so that is one reason I love this spot, you just jump right out of your car and boom, no hikers walking by, no trail runners, no people at all!

So this session was from Valentines Day, and yes I am just now getting around to blogging it, but hey, better late than never right? We love to get pictures done in February because this month has not only Valentines Day, but is my birthday and our anniversary! It's a big month for us, so it's super special for us to make sure we get some updated pictures.
